Cool Recipe!

Updated: Apr 1, 2020

I like to say that Lacey’s cooking/baking is like a lunar eclipse. It doesn’t happen very often but when it does it’s very special (bonus points if you can name that movie). Well, a LUNAR ECLIPSED JUST HAPPENED.

Lacey made these little things called Energy Bites. I’m going with that name because Power Balls seemed a little…abrasive. Anyway, here it is.

Energy Bites:

1 cup of quick oats

1/2 cup of peanut butter

1/2 cup of chocolate chips

1/3 cup of honey

1/4 cup of flax seed

Extra: If you’re feeling a little frisky, you can throw some protein powder in there. Also, throw in the Reese’s peanut butter chips and GET WILD.

Instructions: Mix all the ingredients in a large bowl and roll them in to whatever size you choose. Put them on a baking sheet and freeze for one hour. After that, they can stay in the fridge or freezer. Easy as that.

These make for a great afternoon pick-me-up and don’t make you feel guilty. Try them out!
